Job Description
Copper, founded in 2018, is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team in London. The company is focused on building the standard for institutional digital asset infrastructure. The finance team provides critical information to the company's leadership to facilitate effective management, strategic decision making and provide insights into key data and metrics driving Copper's business growth.This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial information, supporting the existing operational finance team. The ideal candidate will excel at analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and resolving discrepancies at the transactional level.
Role Involves: - Balance sheet reconciliations (monthly and weekly)
- P&L accounting and analysis
- Detailed data analysis to identify trends and discrepancies
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for multiple entities
- Support FP&A with management accounts
- Ad-hoc reporting requests
- Month-end, Consolidation, Audit support, financial control enforcement
Requirements: - Deep understanding of balance sheet reconciliation files
- Experience of financial statements and accounting standards
- Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in relevant software (Excel, NetSuite, Salesforce)
- Understanding of the business environment and market trends relevant to the Digital Asset, Blockchain and Financial Service industries (Desirable)
- Relevant professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc) (Desirable)
