Job Description

Guidepost Montessori is seeking an Elementary Teacher to teach in an elementary classroom and work with experts to pilot innovations. The teacher will receive training and collaborate with colleagues. Guidepost aims to educate the human potential with classrooms designed for students, featuring mixed seating, materials, and a makerspace. The curriculum spans from birth through adulthood and supports student agency.Role involves:

• Leading a Montessori elementary classroom (grades 1-6)
• Supporting a mixed-age class with lessons and real-world extensions
• Creating lesson plans with program experts
• Supporting a classroom culture that reveres effortful choices
• Communicating with parents about student progress
• Collaborating with a team to improve the classroom
• Participating in a network of educators
• Joining a fully-paid teacher training program
• Partnering with the middle school and online school
• Engaging with the research and development team
