Grow Therapy is seeking a Claims Specialist I to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth processing of healthcare claims and requires a detail-oriented and adaptable individual. The Claims Specialist I will be responsible for researching and resolving denied claims, communicating with insurance carriers, and maintaining accurate patient data. This is a remote position offering the opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing start-up in the mental healthcare landscape.
Responsibilities include:
- Researching and resolving denied claims.
- Making outbound calls to insurance carrier supervisors.
- Resubmitting claims with errors.
- Drafting appeals for claim denials.
- Ensuring patient data accuracy.
- Prioritizing workflows based on claim age.
Requirements:
- Process-driven and highly organized.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of healthcare claims and plan benefits.
- At least 2 years of experience in Medical Billing or Healthcare setting.
- Collaborative team player.
- Tech-savvy with excellent communication skills.
