Job Description
Copper is seeking a Technical Content Manager to bridge the gap between product design and technical communication. The Technical Content Manager will shape the language of digital products, craft user-facing content, and develop and maintain technical documentation, including API reference guides. This hybrid role requires a strong communicator comfortable writing microcopy for UI elements and in-depth API documentation for developers and clients.
The ideal candidate will develop clear, concise, and user-friendly content for user guides, manuals, and help documentation. They will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to understand user needs and product functionality. Role Involves:
- Product user guides, integration manuals, onboarding materials and internal documentation
- API Documentation including endpoints, request/response samples, authentication guides, and use-case walkthroughs
- UX copy across web, digital interfaces and apps
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in UX writing, technical writing, or a related field
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX writing and technical documentation samples
- Excellent understanding of developer workflows and technical systems
- Experience with documentation tools like Confluence
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Miro
- Ability to balance multiple projects, prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
- Ability to work independently with broader stakeholders such as marketing and revenue teams in addition to product, UI/UX and engineering
- Comfortable navigating cross-functional teams
