We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Manager (Finance Operations) to drive efficiency and excellence across our financial operations. In this role, you will oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management, ERP & systems optimisation, and cost control, ensuring seamless financial processes and accurate record-keeping.

Based in Boston, you will play a key role in collaborating with finance, procurement, and business stakeholders to optimise cash flow, working capital, and enterprise financial systems. Your expertise in financial operations and systems will help us build a stronger, more agile organisation, where streamlined processes and data-driven insights support growth and decision-making. WHAT YOU’LL DO 

Lead Financial Operations: Oversee AP and AR functions, managing a team of 8 (AR: 5, AP: 2, Systems Engineer) to ensure timely invoicing, collections, and payments. Optimise cash flow, reduce outstanding receivables, and enhance vendor payment accuracy. Optimise Systems & Automation: Maintain and improve ERP functionality, identifying opportunities to streamline financial workflows and automate processes. Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance integrations and troubleshoot system issues. Drive Cost Control & Compliance: Manage financial transactions, expense tracking, and procurement within budget. Implement cost-efficiency strategies, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and support financial audits. Enhance Reporting & Insights: Prepare and present AP/AR and cash flow reports, providing leadership with actionable financial insights. Analyse data to drive better decision-making and process improvements. Improve Processes & Efficiency: Lead ongoing enhancements in financial systems and operations, leveraging technology to reduce manual workflows, increase accuracy, and support the company’s growth.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Experience working with accounting and financial processes with experience as a Manager  Demonstrated experience of process improvement, including automation of financial and accounting processes  Ability to establish and maintain good stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally An ability to be proactive, curious and resourceful whilst problem solving  Strong analytical, organizational, mathematic skills, and a high level of attention to detail  Must be able to work independently in a fast paced, high-volume environment and be able to meet deadlines in a timely manner by prioritizing tasks  Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency required, intermediate to advanced skills
