About the Position:
This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in the technology sales sector and gain experience solution selling to a wide range of enterprises, carriers, and partners. You will be responsible for generating incremental revenue through a named-account base combined with new logo outreach across the entire Cologix North American platform. Primary responsibilities will include solution based consultative sell, contract lifecycle management, renewals, customer and partner referrals as well as outbound prospecting in a business to business environment. This is a hybrid role responsible for managing and growing existing accounts as well as pursuing new business within the Columbus OH, Midwest and Western US markets. You will carry an individual quota and will be responsible for retiring that quota on a quarterly basis. Demonstrable understanding primarily of the data center, real estate and telecommunications industries is a huge plus. In addition, an understanding of cloud compute, cloud on-ramps and cloud providers.
Must display the highest integrity at all times, be fully capable with all communications internal and external to the organization, and exhibit strong funnel management, forecasting and quota attainment discipline.
What you do daily:
Proactively Identify new opportunities within existing customer base Maintain existing revenue and reduce churn Navigate aggressive targets to grow company value while acting as a strong customer advocate Exhibit diplomacy in building revenue streams that are mutually profitable for the company and solve the customer needs Collaborate with internal teams including commercials, operations, customer experience and marketing to generate and close opportunities Successfully prospect new opportunities Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy Account Planning, revenue forecasting and opportunity management Participate in trade shows and local area networking events Manage CRM discipline for a high volume of activity
What makes you a good fit: (Qualifications)
Must be local to the Columbus, OH market with the ability to commute to the local sites on an as-needed basis. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Strong understanding of the data center, real estate, cloud and telecommunications industries. Minimum 5 years proven success in solution-based selling, preferably in the technology sector Disciplined in the use of CRM tool for forecasting and sales activity tracking Technical understanding of the below preferred: Data Center Infrastructure Power Infrastructure Telco Connectivity Cloud / HyperScaler connectivity Must be articulate with a demonstrated consultative capability Organized Competitive personality Thorough understanding of the sales process Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Critical listener with effective questioning Self-starter that does not need constant supervision to be effective Able to manage high activity level***Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or transfer sponsorship of an employment visa at this time, including CPT/OPT.***

Salary Range
$110,000 - $120,000 USD
