Shift Lead (gn) at The Quality Group

The Quality Group (TQG) is seeking a Shift Lead to oversee logistical operations within a key area of their Elsdorf warehouse. The Shift Lead will share responsibility with a counterpart for all logistical processes during their shift, encompassing both procedural and disciplinary leadership. This role involves close collaboration with other teams and the Operations Manager.He/She will professionally and disciplinarily manage the employees in his/her area, manages and coordinates the relevant process areas during his/her shift, and takes responsibility for productivity and operational results.

• Leading employees professionally and disciplinarily.
• Steering and coordinating relevant process areas during the shift.
• Taking responsibility for productivity and operative results.
• Leading smaller improvement and innovation projects.
• Supporting the Operations Managers in technical topics.
• Monitoring relevant KPIs and deriving measures.
• Optimizing processes based on Lean principles.

Requirements include:

• A degree in logistics, training as a warehouse foreman, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in a similar position.
• Initial leadership experience.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Routine use of MS Office 365 and a high level of technical affinity.
• Ideally, knowledge of Lean methods and their application.
