2U is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst III to serve as a senior analyst, specializing in constructing data models and visualizations to support analytics, analysis, and data modelling. The role involves generating data-driven insights to advance the company's objectives and inform operational decision-making. This senior position entails mentoring junior team members and influencing project direction, with key technical input into business critical data sets.
The role involves:
- Cleansing and verifying data integrity
- Analyzing data to deliver data-driven insights
- Visualizing data insights and communicating findings
- Engaging in data engineering tasks to optimize data pipelines
- Leading and delivering projects
- Supporting and mentoring analysts
- Collaborating with stakeholders to execute projects
- Leveraging business knowledge to enhance business performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data visualization, or analytics
- Tableau certification (preferred)
- Advanced understanding of SQL and Data Visualization
- Advanced understanding of Apache Airflow, DBT and APIs
- Skilled understanding of version control
- Experience with data modelling tools, such as dbt
