Backend Software Engineer at Capital on Tap

Capital on Tap is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join their Payments & Finance team. The company aims to help small business owners by providing an all-in-one business credit card & spend management platform. This role is a B2B contract position, working remotely from Poland. The Payments and Finance team is responsible for enhancing Capital On Tap’s offerings for both the inflow and outflow of funds. The Backend Software Engineer will be building robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology. They will own the SDLC, partner with Product Managers and QA's, build unit and integration tests, and troubleshoot bugs. The ideal candidate should have a passion for learning new skills and technologies.

• Building robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology
• Owning the SDLC from code to production
• Partnering with Product Managers and QA’s
• Building unit and integration tests
• Troubleshooting and tweaking code as needed

• 3+ years hands-on experience in C#, .Net Core, SQL Server
• Good testing practices, in both Unit and Integration testing
• Good understanding of database technologies
• Experience in using Agile development practices
• A passion for learning new skills and technologies
