Job Description
HyperionDev is seeking a Head of Learning Design to lead course design, development, and evaluation. This role is within the Learning Experience part of the organization. The Head of Learning Design will oversee course strategy, development, and maintenance to ensure that learners acquire the skills needed for tech careers.
Responsibilities include overseeing new course development, streamlining course building strategies, managing team members, and collaborating with other teams. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of learning design and be capable of thinking strategically to achieve targets related to course quality and student satisfaction.
- Minimum 7+ years experience in learning/instruction design.
- 5+ years direct team management experience.
- Understanding of learning design and educational technology best practices.
- Experience working with high-ranking university partners or other prestigious institutions.
- Experience vetting and onboarding scalable methodologies, tools and platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Good business acumen.
