HyperionDev, a leading provider of accelerated tech education, is seeking a Head of Business Development to join their team in Cape Town. This role involves shaping the go-to-market strategy, leading a team, and driving revenue growth through consultative sales. The ideal candidate will have experience in acquiring and growing corporate training clients, particularly in accredited learning programs. The Head of Business Development will report to the VP of Revenue and be a member of the revenue leadership team.Role involves:
  • Leading Learnership revenue growth strategy
  • Leading account growth strategy for SA’s top corporations
  • Monitoring Learnership performance against KPIs
  • Closing Learnership opportunities
  • Identifying additional B2B growth opportunities
  • Driving operational efficiency for accredited training delivery
  • Leading on cross-business Accredited Training Operational Risk Management
  • Driving cross-functional collaboration
  • Overseeing working relationships within HyperionDev to increase B2B revenue
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years leading teams in accredited training delivery in South Africa
  • Minimum 4 years of business development experience in tech education
  • Strong understanding of the employer learning and development space in South Africa
  • Deep understanding of the B-BBEE ecosystem
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Undergraduate degree in business, management, law, or relevant field
