Software Engineer II

Job Description

Platform Science is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer II to join their team in Brazil. The role is focused on desktop applications and involves using the latest programming languages and technologies to write code, conduct testing, and perform debugging. The engineer will interact with users to define system requirements and modifications, and will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, including new product releases, upgrades, and defect resolution.

The Software Engineer II will partner with QA and Operations to test and deploy changes, and build scalable solutions using engineering best practices in an agile environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Working alongside the engineering team to build solutions for telematics platforms.
• Developing using Java, Kotlin, Angular, and React.

Requirements include:

• 3-5 years of experience in software development.
• Experience developing and maintaining robust full-stack applications using Java and Kotlin for backend and Angular and React for frontend.
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing efficient code.
• Experience working with agile teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
