Software Engineer II at Platform Science

Platform Science is seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer II to join their team. The ideal candidate will contribute to diverse desktop applications, utilizing the latest programming languages and technologies to write code, conduct testing, and perform debugging.

The Fullstack Software Engineer II will interact with users to define system requirements and modifications and will be responsible for the full life cycle of software development activities, including new product releases, upgrades, functional enhancements, defect resolution, and performance improvements. They will also partner with QA and Operations to test and deploy changes, building scalable and sustainable solutions.

The role involves:

• Working alongside the engineering team for the telematics product.
• Building solutions for the company's platforms.
• Developing using Java, Kotlin, Angular, and React.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in software development.
• Experience developing and maintaining robust and scalable full-stack applications using Java and Kotlin for backend and Angular and React for frontend.
• Experience designing, implementing, and testing efficient code.
• Experience working with agile teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluency in English is a plus.
