AI Research and Partnerships Lead (Mat leave cover) at VML MAP

VML MAP is seeking an AI Research & Partnerships Lead to join their Agentic AI Lab, focusing on shaping the future of AI autonomy. The role involves advancing AI research, building strategic collaborations, and developing educational content.

The AI Research & Partnerships Lead will collaborate with researchers, engineers, and business leaders to bridge cutting-edge research with practical AI applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying and developing applied AI research projects
• Integrating research into production-ready AI systems
• Leading exploratory research initiatives
• Building and strengthening partnerships with academic institutions and tech companies
• Representing VML MAP in research consortia and technical working groups
• Developing collaborative research proposals
• Designing and creating educational resources on agentic AI
• Developing workshops and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Publishing white papers and technical blogs

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in AI research, particularly in agentic AI and multi-agent systems
• Experience leading AI research projects
• Proven track record of building and managing research partnerships
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen
• Excellent technical communication skills
• Background in AI/ML development (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Passion for education and knowledge-sharing
