Data Governance Manager at Policy Expert

Policy Expert is seeking a Data Governance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a modern, integrated data governance strategy that supports the company's analytics and AI ambitions. This role involves working closely with the Enterprise Data Architect and the Data Protection Manager to set data management standards and policies, and implement modern, scalable data governance frameworks and tooling.Role involves:

• Developing and owning a modern data governance strategy.
• Defining data domains and ownership structures.
• Establishing and enforcing data governance policies.
• Coordinating the resolution of data governance issues.
• Driving data democratization.
• Facilitating data literacy and stewardship.
• Establishing data lineage and compliance standards.
• Scaling the team with Data Governance Analysts.

Requirements:

• Experienced Data Governance professional.
• Knowledgeable about current trends in data governance.
• Skilled in collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experienced in leveraging modern data cataloguing and governance tools.
• Adept at enforcing non-invasive governance policies.
• Familiar with insurance or similarly regulated industries.
• Strong communicator and influencer.
