Job Description
KBRA is seeking a Senior Coordinator for Conferences and Events to support the overall strategy and planning for the firm's events and marketing functions. This role involves delivering various types of events and is crucial for engaging with key external and internal stakeholders, enhancing client relationships, and improving internal morale and collaboration.
The Senior Coordinator will be based out of KBRA’s New York office and will report to Marketing Managers.
Role involves:
- Assisting in planning and executing logistics for various events.
- Supporting the organization and execution of internal employee events.
- Curating and developing engaging social media content.
- Contributing to the development of event strategies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Preparing and managing event materials.
- Designing, editing, and executing email marketing campaigns.
- Creating, updating, and managing conference websites and event landing pages.
- Maintaining the event calendar company wide.
- Managing onsite conference and meeting schedules.
- Analyzing post-event feedback and key performance indicators.
- Processing conference registrations and associated travel arrangements.
- Handling billing reconciliation and invoice management.
- Providing administrative support to Marketing Managers as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Events, or Hospitality with 3-5 years in related field.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Solid understanding of marketing technology and social platforms.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with strong writing abilities.
- Strong relevant Event Management experience including multiple event types, webinars, teleconferences, round tables etc
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and agile in approach.
- Must be a team player, adaptable to fast-paced, changing environment; with ability to work closely with multiple departments.
- Must be forward looking, highly detail oriented, and proactive with proven project management skills.
- Proficiency in budget management.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Background knowledge of credit ratings and/or fixed income a plus.
