KYC Onboarding Analyst

Job Description

GSR, a leading market-making and programmatic trading company in digital assets, is seeking a KYC Onboarding Analyst to join their Client Services team in New York. This role is crucial in delivering a seamless and compliant onboarding experience for U.S.-based clients.

The KYC Onboarding Analyst will work closely with Compliance, Legal, and Business Development to uphold the company’s global standards and ensure high-quality client interactions. The role involves hybrid work schedule.

• Undertaking KYC and CDD processes for new clients.
• Performing client risk assessments.
• Processing periodic KYC refreshes.
• Monitoring existing clients for trigger events.
• Maintaining accurate logs and registers.
• Supporting due diligence on exchanges and financial institutions.
• Collaborating with Business Development, Compliance, and Legal.
• Maintaining and updating CRM records.
• Responding to internal and external information requests.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in KYC or client onboarding within financial services.
• Knowledge with AML frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience conducting enhanced due diligence and working with screening tools.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
• High level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Experience in digital assets is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as ACAMS or CFE are desirable.
