Venture Investments Analyst / Associate

Job Description

GSR is seeking a Venture Investments Analyst/Associate to join their team in New York. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, conducting research and analysis to identify promising investment opportunities. This role involves evaluating emerging technologies, shaping investment strategies, and performing due diligence on potential investments.

The role involves:

• Conducting in-depth research on market trends and emerging narratives.
• Performing due diligence on potential investments.
• Contributing to the underwriting of technical aspects of investments.
• Engaging with early-stage networks and protocols to assess usability and traction.
• Analyzing data from on-chain and off-chain sources.
• Creating investment theses, memos, and internal reports.
• Enhancing the investment process by streamlining data aggregation and refining diligence frameworks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in finance, economics, computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
• Deep analytical skills.
• At least 2+ years of experience in crypto markets, DeFi, or blockchain ecosystems.
• Deep curiosity about emerging technologies and crypto market structures.
• Exemplary communication skills.
• Prior professional experience in Venture Capital
