Writer - contract June - December 2025 at Media Molecule

Media Molecule, an award-winning game developer within PlayStation Studios, is seeking a talented Writer for a 6-month contract, from June to December 2025. The Writer will be based on-site at their newly refurbished studio in Guildford. The role involves adapting to the house-style of writing to craft dialogues, scenes, and menu text. He/She will be working alongside inter-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Adapt to the house-style of writing.
• Write dialogues, scenes, menu text, and more.
• Self-edit to produce well-worded, grammatically correct text.
• Take direction from the lead narrative designer.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Keep documentation up-to-date.
• Provide constructive, insightful feedback when asked.
• Collaborate closely with inter-disciplinary teams.

Requirements:

• Portfolio of (up to) 20 pages showcasing flexibility as a writer.
• Samples demonstrating variety in tone, style, and voice.
