Senior Data Engineer at AB InBev Growth Group

AB InBev is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to contribute to the development of its Global Customer Data Platform (CDP). This role involves integrating diverse data sources, creating scalable data pipelines, and implementing robust data models to support audience segmentation, campaign targeting, and consumer analytics. The Senior Data Engineer will work alongside data engineers, marketing stakeholders, and global teams to create data solutions that drive business outcomes.Role involves:

• Leading the architecture and evolution of the global CDP platform.
• Exploring and integrating diverse data sources.
• Designing and developing robust data pipelines.
• Defining and implementing a comprehensive data model.
• Maintaining strong data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Collaborating with marketing, product, and analytics teams.
• Applying best practices in data architecture and automation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data tools and platforms, including Apache Spark and Databricks.
• Proficiency with cloud-based data warehouses and cloud platforms.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python.
• Experience designing and orchestrating ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Familiarity with data governance tools and best practices.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency in software engineering best practices.
• Knowledge of hexagonal architecture.
