Sr. IOS Developer

Job Description

The company is seeking a skilled Sr. iOS Developer to join their team. The Sr. iOS Developer will play a vital role in the development of an iOS application, focusing on translating and integrating an existing Node.js backend. He will work closely with technical lead on complex technical challenges, and support principal investigators in transforming research goals into technical solutions.

• Translating and refactoring Node.js logic into high-quality Swift code for iOS
• Leading iOS development efforts with a focus on stability, performance, and compliance
• Troubleshooting and remediating issues, ensuring robust system behavior
• Managing and executing the App Store release process in line with Apple’s guidelines
• Collaborating with an Azure-based backend to ensure smooth integration with mobile features
• Supporting data-driven features in collaboration with data science teams using AWS SageMaker
• Partnering with Principal Investigators to understand and translate research needs into scalable, maintainable solutions
• Providing expert technical support and guidance to non-technical stakeholders

• Extensive experience in Swift and native iOS development
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, especially for system integration and logic translation
• Familiarity with Azure backend environments and APIs
• Proven track record of managing App Store deployments and app lifecycle maintenance
• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with non-technical audiences
