Job Description
Palmetto is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join its Finance team. Palmetto is recognized by Forbes as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The Capital Markets Associate will be responsible for capital markets activities spanning across capital raising, execution, and modeling work to support the advancement of those opportunities. This is an individual contributor role.
Role Involves:
- Developing and executing Excel financial models to support Tax Equity and Debt capital funding
- Leading the execution of tax equity, debt, and equity funding processes with external stakeholders
- Reporting associated with Palmetto Finance to key financial stakeholders
- Enhancing existing processes and workflows for more efficiency
- Liaising with Corporate Finance, Treasury, Asset Management, and Accounting
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key banks and other key external partners
- Anticipating customer needs and providing tailored solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; master’s or MBA a plus
- 3-5+ years of experience in banking or capital markets; solar industry experience preferred
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills with deep understanding of the macroeconomic landscape
- Proactive identification of improvement opportunities and implementation of solutions
- Highly motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced customer-centric environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
