Job Description

Ogilvy Health UK is seeking a Senior Medical Editor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Senior Medical Editor will ensure consistent, high-quality, and error-free work across key accounts. The role involves providing expert medical editing services and maintaining high standards.

Responsibilities:

• Providing expert medical editing services.
• Working closely with medical writers and account managers.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of therapeutic areas.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Contributing to the improvement of editorial processes.

Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Medical Editor within a medical communications agency.
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, grammar, and style.
• Proven ability to edit complex scientific documents.
• Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in various therapeutic areas (desirable).
• A life science degree or equivalent (preferred).
