Senior Medical Editor at Ogilvy Health UK

Ogilvy Health UK is seeking a Senior Medical Editor for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The candidate will ensure consistent, high-quality, and error-free work across key accounts. Ogilvy Health UK is made up of healthcare communication specialists across the disciplines of medical education and communications; brain sciences; brand promotion; digital and social; strategic planning; public relations and creative/design. The role involves providing expert medical editing services and maintaining the high standards clients expect. This role offers a hybrid work model and provides opportunities to participate in cultural and DEI initiatives.

Role Involves:

• Providing expert medical editing services across various projects.
• Working closely with medical writers and account managers.
• Maintaining a strong understanding of therapeutic areas.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of editorial processes.

Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Medical Editor in a medical communications agency.
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, grammar, and style.
• Proven ability to edit complex scientific documents.
• Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in various therapeutic areas (desirable).
• A life science degree or equivalent (preferred).
