iFood is seeking a Public Policy Specialist, specifically for the Data Policy vertical. The specialist will contribute to the production of data-driven insights and informed perspectives to enhance public policy discussions using iFood data and public datasets. The role involves producing and promoting studies and research.

The specialist will provide analysis, evidence, and planning for strategic engagement and decision-making with key stakeholders, including the Executive, Legislative, Judiciary, Public Prosecutor's Office, Press, and Civil Society. They will also focus on building and strengthening relationships with research and educational institutions, as well as third-sector organizations, to establish iFood as a reference point in debates on strategic issues for the company.

The specialist will collaborate with analysts from other relevant areas within iFood, such as Public Relations/Communication, Logistics, Legal, Social Impact, and others, in a coordinated and cross-functional manner, navigating a complex, dynamic, and multi-level environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Capturing and systematizing data to promote studies, quantitative analysis that supports the institutional positioning of the company.
  • Engaging with academic and research institutions and third sector organizations to form common agendas, develop partnerships.
  • Monitoring and analyzing national and international regulatory initiatives, conducting comparative studies.
  • Collaborating with the strategic plan of the Public Policy team and the company as a whole.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of the strategic plan and ad-hoc projects.
  • Accompanying the team in interacting with relevant stakeholders at the federal, state, municipal levels and their initiatives.
  • Offering detailed diagnostics and evaluations for the company's operations, developing tactical and strategic insights.
  • Preparing presentations, notes and messages from the data and studies carried out.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences, political science, law, journalism, economics, public relations, international relations, or public administration or related fields.
  • MPA, MPP, master's or doctorate in social sciences, political science, law, journalism, economics, public relations, international relations, or public administration will be a differential.
  • Knowledge with tools for data analysis and programming languages (Python, R, SQL and others).
  • Knowledge in data visualization tools (ThoughtSpot will be a differential).
  • Intermediate English.
  • Experience in academic research, public opinion and data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience in capturing, processing, systematizing and analyzing political and public policy data.
  • Tendency assessment, policies, legislation and emerging issues.
  • Highly communicative and collaborative.
