Platform Engineer

Job Description

Veeam, the leading provider of data resilience solutions, is seeking a Platform Engineer to join their team in Prague. This role focuses on contributing to the infrastructure used for developing and testing Veeam Kasten, a data management platform designed for Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will ensure top-tier security and excellence in the platform.Responsibilities:

• Rolling out and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
• Implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Developing tools for automating technical daily routines.
• Developing and enhancing Infrastructure as Code templates.
• Preparing technical documentation and specifications.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience deploying, upgrading, and maintaining infrastructures with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with VM management platforms like Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization and VMware.
• Experience with container orchestration and management platforms.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Experience coding in Golang or Python.
• System programming skills in Bash.
