Moloco is seeking an Associate Legal Counsel to support its operations in the APAC region. The role involves providing legal advice, support, and leadership to the company's operations in the Asia-Pacific region. The Legal Counsel will report to the Head of APAC Legal and will help the legal department establish and execute strategies and processes that are designed to support scalable growth and build trust with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel on legal matters related to Moloco's operations in Asia-Pacific.
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess and mitigate legal risks.
- Manage Moloco’s APAC entities to ensure compliance with local law requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Moloco policies and procedures.
- Manage and oversee any legal disputes or litigation involving Moloco in APAC.
- Provide legal training and assistance to internal stakeholders.
- Assist on day-to-day legal administrative and contract management responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Law degree and a valid license to practice law in the U.S., Korea, China, Japan or Singapore.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a legal counsel or attorney for a technology company.
- Extensive experience with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
- Experience working in a multinational company with executive management overseas.
- Strong knowledge of APAC regional-specific laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical and strategic advice.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently.
- Fluency in English (speaking, reading and writing) is essential.
