Product Lead - Tax

Job Description

Arcesium is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Lead - Tax to join their Product Management Group. This role involves contributing to the vision and roadmap for the tax product, maintaining the product backlog, and collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize tasks. The Product Lead will conduct competitor analysis, partner with user groups and tech owners to derive solutions for complex problems in the Hedge Fund Taxation domain, and work closely with the engineering team to design, manage, and maintain the product. They will also manage stakeholder communication through project meetings and artifacts.

• Contributing to the creation of the vision for the Tax Product
• Contributing to the creation and execution of the Tax Product Roadmap
• Maintaining the Product backlog and collaborating with stakeholders in prioritizing the same
• Conducting competitor product/trend analyses to ensure the product is in sync with market needs
• Partnering with user groups and tech owners to derive solutions for complex problems in the Hedge Fund Taxation domain
• Working closely with the engineering team to design, manage, and maintain the Product
• Managing stakeholder communication by conducting timely project meetings and producing artifacts such as project plans, client scorecards, release plans & notes

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Taxation for Hedge Fund and PE Funds
• Good understanding of hedge fund structures, allocations, and taxation concepts
• Working knowledge of complex tax concepts such as Wash Sales, Constructive Sales, Straddle, QDI and other Book to Tax adjustments such as section 1256, 988, 871 (m)
• An outstanding academic background and the passion to work in a high-tech software development environment
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables
• A high level of personal maturity and a collaborative attitude
