Senior Financial Controller

Job Description

Clarity AI is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to ensure accurate and compliant financial operations. This role involves leveraging data to provide insights to internal stakeholders, supporting informed decision-making aligned with business objectives.

The Senior Financial Controller will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for the fiscal reporting and compliance of Clarity AI. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading personnel cost controlling and monthly variance analysis.
• Managing revenue recognition, ARR calculations, and overseeing the billing process.
• Driving cash flow forecasting, modeling, and liquidity planning.
• Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and participating in audit processes.
• Coordinating tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Managing the calculation and tracking of sales commissions and equity-based compensation plans.
• Providing financial inputs to FP&A and collaborating with Finance leadership.
• Using and improving automation within financial systems, especially NetSuite.

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years’ experience in accounting and finance (Big4 + International SaaS companies, Start-up or tech company experience).
• Netsuite (Oracle) experience is big plus.
• Relevant international experience, working with multiple jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills (Minimum C1 level-proficient user).
• Highly motivated and passionate about sustainability, technology and artificial intelligence.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
