Canonical is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to drive the go-to-market strategy for its security and compliance portfolio. This role requires a blend of technical understanding and marketing expertise to translate product capabilities into compelling messaging. The Technical Product Marketing Manager will collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to increase awareness, adoption, and growth of Canonical's security offerings.

The ideal candidate will be a technologist with a passion for open source and a knack for communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. They should be comfortable working in a distributed environment and driven by curiosity and a desire to build scalable marketing systems.

Role involves:

  • Leading the go-to-market strategy for Canonical’s security and compliance products.
  • Tracking the competitive landscape and emerging trends.
  • Collaborating with engineering and product teams to understand product roadmaps.
  • Translating technical product capabilities into clear messaging.
  • Owning campaign and content planning for the security portfolio.
  • Using data to optimize demand generation strategies.
  • Planning events, webinars, and supporting messaging for media promotion.
