Canonical is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to drive go-to-market strategies for its security and compliance offerings in the EMEA region. This role requires a blend of technical acumen and marketing expertise to effectively communicate the value of Canonical's products to diverse audiences.
The Technical Product Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with product managers, engineering teams, and security experts at Canonical to translate technical capabilities into compelling messaging and content. They will also work with content, sales, and other marketing teams to increase product awareness, drive adoption, and support company growth through comprehensive gtm strategies.
Role Involves:
- Leading the go-to-market strategy and execution for Canonical’s range of security and compliance products, including messaging and positioning
- Tracking the competitive landscape and emerging trends to define product differentiation and value drivers
- Collaborating with engineering and product teams to understand product roadmaps, and customer use cases
- Translating technical product capabilities into clear, differentiated messaging for key personas, including Executives, DevSecOps, and platform teams
- Owning campaign and content planning for the security portfolio
- Using data and insights to iterate on demand generation strategies and optimize conversion throughout the funnel
- Working with other teams to plan events, webinars and support messaging for paid and social media promotion
Requirements:
- Experience in a marketing function for enterprise IT products
- Passion for the cybersecurity industry and cybersecurity marketing
- Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
- Confidence to respectfully speak up, exchange feedback, and share ideas without hesitation
- Track record of going above-and-beyond expectations to achieve outstanding results
- Passion for technology evidenced by personal projects and initiatives
- Professional written and spoken English with excellent presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability

- Ability to travel internationally four times a year for company events
