One Acre Fund is seeking a MEL Field Coordinator in Minna, Nigeria, to lead Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) field operations. The candidate will ensure high-quality data collection and support impact measurement initiatives. One Acre Fund was founded in 2006. It equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive.
The MEL Field Coordinator will coordinate field activities, supervise data collection teams, and work with team members to ensure MEL activities contribute to evidence-based decision-making and program improvements. He/she will report directly to the MNE Specialist. This role is based in Minna and is onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate field activities, including site visits, inspections, and maintenance work
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Manage field data, including reports, records, and other documentation
- Provide technical guidance to field personnel
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of field activities and results
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in MEL, field research, or program evaluation.
- Skills in data collection, field coordination, and team management.
- Experience using digital data collection tools (e.g., ODK, CommCare, SurveyCTO, KoboToolbox).
- Willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
