Job Description
Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Preparation Operator for their Bloomington, Indiana facility. This role involves working in a Grade C/D environment, performing routine cleaning and sanitization to maintain cGMP compliance. The operator will also be responsible for equipment setup, sterilization, and integrity testing of filters.
The role involves:
- Performing routine cleanup and sanitizations in Grade C/D areas.
- Ensuring cGMP compliance.
- Maintaining organization within classified areas.
- Completing calculations to support preparation activities.
- Retrieving and testing in-process samples.
- Cleaning and sampling equipment.
- Operating preparation equipment such as autoclaves, sonicators, depyrogenation ovens, and vial and stopper washers.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 6 months of previous Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing practices.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
