Legal Analyst (Remote - Work from Anywhere) at Xapo Bank

Xapo Bank is seeking a Legal Analyst to support its legal team. As a fully distributed team of over 140 Xapiens, Xapo Bank offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere.

The Legal Analyst will mainly involve:

• Conducting in-depth legal research on a wide range of legal topics.
• Reviewing legal documentation.
• Analysing complex legal information.
• Summarising findings in clear, concise reports.
• Assessing and implementing standards relating to the consumer duty principle, financial promotion rules, and reviewing and assessing client facing communications.
• Dealing with any issues that arise from a members’ perspective.
• Providing recommendations and sound legal advice based on findings.

Requirements for the role include:

• 5+ years PQE within the Financial Services (primarily banking, payments and DLT) industry, with a Fintech and Blockchain focus ideally.
• UK qualified lawyer or equivalent but with practice and experience in the UK or Gibraltar.
• Demonstrated analytical and research abilities.
• The capacity to analyse complex legal issues and conduct thorough legal research.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to find creative solutions to complex legal problems.
• Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with various technologies.
• Project Management: Ability to lead a project, interact across product, risk, finance and other teams within the group, and to have some business development skills.
