Renaissance Global is seeking an Information Security and Compliance Specialist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, managing, and treating risks associated with internal and external processes, systems, and partners. This role requires relevant information security training, experience with cybersecurity tools and practices, and familiarity with industry standards like ISO 27001, SOC2, and GDPR.
The role is hybrid, based in Houghton le Spring, with occasional travel to London and Swindon.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring, evaluating, and actioning alerts from security systems.
- Assessing technical controls and identifying areas of improvement.
- Assessing risk associated with information systems and cloud platforms.
- Implementing and maintaining compliance with information security frameworks.
- Monitoring performance and compliance of processes, systems, and partners.
- Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of security policies and training programs.
- Ensuring company-wide information security and compliance requirements are uniformly maintained.
- Obtaining and maintaining global compliance certifications.
- Staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Communicating effectively across the organization.
Requirements include:
- Formal training in information security, governance, risk and compliance, network security, or privacy compliance.
- Experience with information security and compliance best practices, tools, techniques, and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
- Experience evaluating, prioritizing, and fulfilling operational and compliance requests.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in information security, compliance, legal, or IT related fields.
- Information security and compliance certifications.
- Experience with cybersecurity incident response processes.
- Knowledge of AI regulations and technical specifications.
