Lead Backend Engineer at Launch Potato

Launch Potato is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to join their team. The company operates as a digital media entity, linking advertisers with customers across various phases of the consumer journey.This role involves enabling Launch Potato’s Data Science team by supporting and deploying ML infrastructure. The candidate will maintain backend services, focusing on reliability and performance, and troubleshoot production issues. They will also manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform and ECS in AWS.Role Involves:

• Deploying machine learning pipelines and endpoint changes.
• Maintaining and improving backend services.
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
• Contributing to continuous deployment pipelines.

Requirements:

• Experience with containerized Python/Django (or FastAPI) services and AWS deployment.
• Proven track record collaborating with Data Science teams.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting production bugs.
• Strong grasp of SQL databases, CI/CD (CircleCI), and infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
• 4+ years of professional development experience using Python frameworks.
