Senior Backend Engineer at Launch Potato

Launch Potato, a digital media company, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to enable their Data Science team to scale machine learning innovation. This role involves supporting and deploying ML infrastructure across business-critical services. The engineer will maintain and improve backend services, ensuring reliability and performance.

• Deploy machine learning pipeline and endpoint changes.
• Identify and remove backend bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
• Maintain infrastructure using tools like Terraform and ECS.
• Participate in code reviews.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Python development experience
• Experience with containerized Python/Django (or FastAPI) services on AWS
• Experience deploying ML endpoints to production
• Proficiency in SQL databases, CI/CD (CircleCI), and infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred)
• Strong grasp of SQL databases, CI/CD
