Warehouse Production Assistant at Pela Case Corporation

Pela, creators of compostable phone cases and Lomi smart-waste appliance, is seeking a Production Assistant to support their production departments. The role is based at their Kelowna facility on Stremel Road and involves working within a team focused on injection molding and printing sustainable phone cases. They value ownership, initiative, and the ability to just get sh*t done.

The Role Involves:

• Staging raw materials for injection molding
• Operating raw material dryers and blending materials
• Maintaining records of material usage and regrinding materials
• Organizing inventory and removing defective products
• Maintaining a safe and clean workspace
• Collaborating to improve facility operations

Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined with a hands-on approach
• Capable of performing repetitive tasks with accuracy
• Quick learner, able to contribute to process improvements
• Effective independently and in a team
• Thrives in fast-paced environments
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of workmanship
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for 8-hour shifts
• Available Monday to Friday
