Privacy Operations Manager at Convera

Convera is seeking a Privacy Operations Manager to join its Privacy Office within the corporate legal affairs team. This role is crucial for managing the operational components of the Global Privacy Program, ensuring Convera's compliance with global privacy laws and managing privacy risks.

The Privacy Operations Manager will collaborate with various teams, including CyberSec, Risk and Compliance, Product & Technology, and Operations, as well as local management and the Global Legal team.

Role involves:

• Managing day-to-day privacy operations, including updating records of processing activities.
• Leading privacy assessments.
• Processing data subjects' requests.
• Managing privacy incidents.
• Leading the data privacy risk-based monitoring and testing program.
• Contributing to defining privacy operating procedures and supporting privacy awareness.
• Assisting with the coordination and monitoring of Information Retention Schedules.
• Preparing indicators and metrics for continuous assessment of the Privacy Program Framework.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in privacy program management or privacy operations, preferably in a financial technology environment.
• Good understanding and knowledge of global privacy-related regulatory requirements (EU GDPR, UK data protection regulations, US states privacy laws and GLBA) supported by privacy certification (CIPP or CIPM).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Team player who can adapt to shifting priorities and adheres to deadlines.
