Architect at Caylent

Caylent is seeking an Architect to join their Cloud Architecture & Engineering team. This role involves working with customers, partners, and colleagues to drive innovation forward. The Architect will work alongside Caylent’s Engineers, Engineering Managers, and Project Managers to deliver AWS solutions. They will also be guiding Cayliens through Agile ceremonies.

Responsibilities:

• Guiding teams through Agile ceremonies.
• Translating customer requirements into a workable backlog.
• Delegating tickets to engineers.
• Leading requirements gathering and architecture discussions.
• Applying understanding of DevOps pipelines.
• Writing production quality code and unit tests.
• Documenting designs, processes, and procedures.
• Mentoring peers and learning from other engineers.

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience as an engineer.
• Expertise in Serverless Frameworks, API Gateway, S3, SNS, SQS, CloudFront, Lambda.
• Hands-on experience in AWS Serverless environments.
• Experience in implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) in AWS.
• Proficient in scripting (JavaScript, TypeScript preferred).
• DevOps automation expertise.
