Job Description

Caylent, a cloud-native services company, is seeking a Data Architect to join its Cloud Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data architecture and ML system design, with a passion for driving innovation alongside customers, partners, and colleagues. This role involves working with the latest technologies to deliver AWS solutions to a diverse customer base.Responsibilities include:

• Guiding Cayliens and customers through Agile ceremonies.
• Translating customer requirements into a workable backlog of tickets.
• Delegating tickets to a team of engineers.
• Leading requirements gathering, backlog grooming, and architecture discussions.
• Applying understanding of DevOps pipelines.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in customer environments.
• Automating software testing.
• Writing production-quality code with tests.
• Delivering cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Communicating and documenting designs and processes.
• Mentoring peers and learning from experienced engineers.

Qualifications include:

• Experience designing and implementing ETL, SQL databases, analytics, and MDM solutions.
• Experience implementing high availability solutions, RDS optimization, and large-scale application migration on AWS.
• Expert-level understanding of data warehouses and RDBMS.
• Proficiency with IaC and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, and SDKs.
