Site Reliability Engineer Lead / SRE Lead at Sertis

Sertis, a leading Data and AI company in Bangkok, is seeking a Senior-Lead Site Reliability Engineer. This role is crucial for enhancing the efficiency and reliability of software development and deployment processes, ensuring the availability, performance, and scalability of systems and services. The engineer will collaborate with Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Data Engineering teams to automate and streamline processes through automation.

The role involves designing and building new infrastructure, supporting pre-sales activities, and continuously improving the CI/CD pipeline and monitoring processes.

Responsibilities:

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of systems and services.
• Implement and maintain SLAs to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Design, build, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline.
• Develop and maintain runbooks/playbooks for incident response and maintenance.
• Work with engineering teams to resolve production issues and implement best practices.
• Conduct incident response and post-mortem analysis.
• Mentor junior/mid-level engineers.
• Participate in recruitment.
• Ensure and advocate for DevOps practices.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure components.
• Strong automation and IaC skills (Terraform, AWS CDK, Flux/ArgoCD, Helm, Gitlab CI).
• Experience with monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana).
• Secure by design mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills and ability to mentor.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and SRE best practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
