Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Sertis

Sertis is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to play a crucial role in productionizing advanced data science research. This role involves efficiently running AI models on diverse hardware platforms, designing robust MLOps infrastructure, and optimizing models for deployment. The candidate will also write production-ready software for model inference.He/she will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level machine learning engineers. The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will represent the machine learning team in project discussions and engage directly with clients to gather requirements.

• Collaborate with teams to design ML solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure for model training and deployment.
• Develop cloud-native APIs, pipelines, and general software for model inference.
• Conduct experiments and analyses to evaluate model performance.
• Gather customer requirements, determining project scope and creating technical diagrams.
• Provide technical advice and mentorship to junior machine learning engineers.
• Act as a team representative, offering guidance to project members.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and ensure smooth collaboration.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
• Strong understanding of machine learning processes and SDLC.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or other relevant languages.
• Understanding of REST APIs, git version control, CI/CD, and MLOps principles.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proven experience in providing technical mentorship.
