Senior Backend Engineer at VEED.IO

VEED.IO is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join its Core Services team in Barcelona. The Core Services team is responsible for platform development and supporting other engineering teams.

The role is hybrid, offering flexibility in integrating work and life.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting other teams by providing technical assistance and troubleshooting.
• Building services and infrastructure to enable other engineers and speed up development.
• Taking ownership of larger initiatives within the Core Services team.
• Solving technical problems end-to-end, across infrastructure, backend, and frontend.

Requirements include:

• Proactive and motivated to understand technical challenges.
• TDD-like attitude and prioritize writing comprehensive tests.
• Good knowledge of TypeScript and related web technologies.
• Ideally incorporates AI-based tooling into your workflows.
• Comfortable leading technical projects and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communicator and able to work well in a fully asynchronous manner.
