Job Description
Capital on Tap is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to contribute to the development of credit card and payment products for small businesses. This hybrid role, based in London (Shoreditch) requires working from the office 2 days a week. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to make decisions, explore new technologies, and share knowledge within an agile environment.
Role involves:
- Building robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology.
- Owning the SDLC from code to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Partnering with Product Managers, QAs, and fellow Software Engineers.
- Building unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshooting and tweaking as needed.
- Bridging the gap between tech speak and business goals.
Requirements:
- 6+ years hands-on experience in C#, .Net Core, SQL Server.
- Good testing practices, in both Unit and Integration testing.
- Good understanding of database technologies.
- Experience in using Agile development practices.
- A passion for learning new skills and technologies.
- A proactive, supportive, and collaborative team player.
