Senior Backend Software Engineer at Capital on Tap

Capital on Tap is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to contribute to building the best credit card and payment products for small businesses. The role involves building robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology, taking ownership of the SDLC from code to production, and collaborating with Product Managers, QAs, and fellow Software Engineers. The ideal candidate will build unit and integration tests and troubleshoot issues as needed, bridging the communication gap between technical and business goals.

• Build robust and scalable solutions using .Net technology
• Own the SDLC from the first line of code to production, monitoring, and continuous improvement
• Partner with Product Managers, QA’s, and fellow Software Engineers
• Build unit and integration tests
• Troubleshoot and tweak as needed
• Bridge the gap between tech speak and business goals

Requirements:

• 6+ years hands-on experience in C#, .Net Core, SQL Server
• Good testing practices, in both Unit and Integration testing
• Good understanding of database technologies
• Experience in using Agile development practices
• A passion for learning new skills and technologies
• A proactive, supportive, and collaborative team player
