Senior Software Engineer (Studio Blocks) at GoFundMe

GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This role involves implementing campaign experiences and contributing to a microservice-based evolution of the technical infrastructure. The Senior Software Engineer will analyze, design, and develop software, ensuring clean and maintainable code within a complex code base. They will collaborate with experienced developers, mentor junior engineers, and work within an Agile environment as part of a Scrum team to develop web-based software solutions.

• Analyzing, designing, and developing software for campaign experiences
• Contributing to a microservice-based evolution of the technical infrastructure
• Collaborating with experienced developers to design new features
• Mentoring junior engineers

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with web development
• Excellent understanding of distributed software architecture
• Proficiency with React, Javascript ES6, TypeScript, Node.js, HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with GraphQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, SNS)
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Experience with code versioning tools (GIT/Bitbucket)
