Custom Solution Engineer at Chemaxon

Chemaxon, a leading cheminformatics software company, is seeking a Custom Solution Engineer to join their Professional Services team. This team bridges the gap between customer business problems and Chemaxon's products by designing and building robust, flexible solutions. The Custom Solution Engineer will work collaboratively with Solution Architects, product teams, project managers, and customers to execute projects to a high standard.

Role involves:

• Designing, building, and deploying technological solutions using modern quality practices.
• Installing, configuring, testing, training, and deploying solutions.
• Collaborating with Solution Architects, product teams, project managers and customers.
• Leading complex technology solutions for customers and contributing to operational improvement.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience with small, fast moving consulting oriented projects.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge in database technology (SQL, ETL, AWS RDS).
• Programming experience in Java and Javascript and frontend frameworks (React).
• Experience with enterprise technology (API, messaging, clustering, networking, security).
• Eagerness to learn general knowledge of software and processes used in drug discovery and Excellent English language skills.
