Staff Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps at Pismo

Pismo is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join their DevOps squad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and optimizing the Pismo CD/CD Platform, creating pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and improving operational tasks using best practices in CI/CD and IaC. This role involves staying updated with the latest technology trends and providing strategic insights.

What this role involves:

• Acting as a reference for the DevOps squad.
• Ensuring well-informed SRE and Engineering decisions.
• Maintaining platform resilience.
• Introducing new technologies.
• Mentoring junior engineers.
• Making impactful technical contributions.

Requirements:

• C1 English (Advanced).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Argo and Codefresh.
• Expertise in IaC tools like Terraform.
• Experience with automating deployment processes and integrating CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio).
• Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Grafana Loki, Honeycomb, OpenTelemetry, and Prometheus).
• Proficiency with AWS.
• Experience with support and on-call duties.
