Junior Backend Developer at AB InBev Growth Group

AB InBev is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join their team in Campinas, Brazil. The Junior Backend Developer will collaborate on technical design, develop solutions, and ensure the quality of implementation for new features. This role involves working closely with the engineering team and staying aligned with Engineering Managers for decentralized technical decisions.

The ideal candidate will participate in high-level requirements meetings and tech refinements to help the team define technical solutions. They will support the squad in making technical decisions, question current standards, and suggest new tools and technologies. The role also involves contributing to the Backend Chapter, identifying technical debts and bugs, and prioritizing their resolution.

Role Involves:

• Collaborating on technical design of backend solutions.
• Developing solutions and ensuring implementation quality.
• Participating in requirements meetings and tech refinements.
• Supporting the team in technical decisions.
• Identifying and resolving technical debts and bugs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or in progress).
• Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Beginner-level proficiency in at least one programming language and its main frameworks.
• Knowledge of Systems Architectural styles (Monolith, Plugin, SOA, Microservices, Event-driven).
• Knowledge of API and capabilities.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge in System Modeling.
• Knowledge of Agile Framework.
• Knowledge of DevOps culture, automation (CI/CD) and main tools.
• Knowledge in Quality (stress tests, load, TDD, BDD).
