Scalapay, a rapidly growing unicorn in the BuyNow PayLater sector, is seeking a KYC & AML Analyst to join their team in Milan. The role involves verifying information provided by merchants and customers during onboarding across European markets. The analyst will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, validate KYC documents, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.

Responsibilities:

  • Reading, analysing and processing KYC documents.
  • Reviewing KYC information and approving or rejecting customers.
  • Analysing and documenting financial issues.
  • Conducting day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Communicating insights and potential improvements.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Economic/Law degree or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a KYC analyst in a regulated entity.
  • Knowledge of AML and KYC regulations.
  • Experience in document verification and due diligence systems.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proactive, able to work independently, and manage tasks efficiently.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
