Job Description
Taco Bell is seeking a Labor Engineer, Restaurant Operations to support labor strategy initiatives through analysis and insight. The Engineer will apply Lean Six Sigma problem-solving skills to improve processes and deliver cost savings. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams during the design and development phase of future platforms and initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement.Role Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth analysis related to the work content-based labor model.
- Studying restaurant and business operations and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborating on efficient kitchen designs to streamline operations.
- Collecting data and developing models to quantify benefits of investments.
- Involvement in creating standard/custom reports for field leaders to manage labor costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering with 3 years of experience, OR 5 years of practical, analytical experience without a degree; Master's Degree preferred.
- Experience with data analytics and engineering tools.
- Experience in restaurant/retail operations, management consulting, or engineering/automation.
- Project management skills to define objectives, scope, cost, and schedule projects.
- Strong analytic skills with experience building Excel models and database tools.
