QA Technician (5 month contract) at 2K Czech

Hangar 13 is seeking a QA Technician for a 5-month contract in Brno, Czech Republic. The QA Technician will test pre-release software on various platforms, ensuring game content adheres to quality standards. This role involves reporting defects, regressing fixed issues, and providing feedback to developers to maintain quality.

Hangar 13 is an internal 2K development studio known for creating AAA video games across all major platforms. With locations in Brighton, Brno, and Prague, the studio fosters a collaborative environment focused on high-quality games and sustainable development plans.

What this role involves:

• Testing software from the test plan provided in the required timescale
• Accurately reporting defects found by entering them into the database in accordance with company guidelines
• Regressing all open and claimed fixed issues in later builds and check the corresponding database entries
• Providing feedback in key areas to the developers to ensure the best possible quality is maintained
