Job Description
Poka is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their team and contribute to the continuous improvement of their connected worker platform. The Senior Product Designer will collaborate with a cross-functional team to identify user needs, develop concepts, and deliver optimal experiences for factory workers across multiple platforms. This role involves solving complex design problems, translating user data into interactive mock-ups and prototypes, and conducting user tests to evaluate concepts and functionalities.
The Senior Product Designer will work closely with engineers to iterate and ship ideas, and collaborate with designers across all teams to enhance Poka's design processes and tools.
What this role involves:
- Solving complex design problems from start to finish.
- Actively participating in problem definition with Product Managers and team leaders.
- Translating user data into interactive mock-ups and prototypes.
- Conducting user tests and customer validations.
- Designing detailed flows, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactions.
- Collaborating closely with engineers.
- Improving Poka's design processes, principles, and tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or multimedia design.
- 10+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer.
- Experience in digital product and system design.
- Experience in native iOS design (an asset).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of Figma or similar software.
- Portfolio demonstrating digital product design examples.
- Excellent English and French, spoken and written.
